Return to Roots
After individual success and 18 years apart, Cahn & Saltzman have reunited to represent talented artists and promising music businesses.
No other law partnership boasts partners who played at Woodstock 1969, managed nascent global rock stars, led class action lawsuits for artist royalties, and personally produced platinum records.
Elliot Cahn, who was also a founding member of Sha Na Na and played at the 1969 Woodstock Festival, has continued on with his law and management practice, expanding into the tech and corporate worlds, and participating as co-counsel in class action lawsuits related to digital royalty rates against The Universal and Warner Music Groups.
Jeff Saltzman practiced law for 10 years during the 80’s and 90’s. Along with Elliot he represented numerous music clients, handling their recording and publishing deals, as well as managing several bands. Since then he has been producing records, including The Killers’ multi-platinum Hot Fuss, as well as albums for Blondie, Dept. of Eagles, the Sounds and Fischerspooner.
